Dr. Katherine Dively attended the University of Maryland Dental School, graduating in the top of her class. Upon graduation, she completed a rigorous and competitive residency at York Hospital in York, PA. Dr. Kate, as her beloved patients call her, has been in private practice in South Central Pennsylvania since 2009. She is committed to staying on the cutting edge of dentistry and takes numerous hours of continuing education in areas such as digital dentistry, esthetics, sedation, laser dentistry, pediatrics, and orthodontics. She is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Harrisburg Area Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). An Invisalign certified provider, Dr. Kate believes in comprehensive and minimally-invasive dentistry.

“I went into dentistry because I am passionate about helping people and it is my mission to make coming to the dentist a positive experience. With today’s technology such as the Solea laser, dentistry can now be pain-free and pleasant. I know that dental anxiety affects many people young and old, and it is my goal to alleviate their fears through a relaxed environment and a gentle touch. I want all dental visits to end with a smile!”

Originally from Michigan, Dr. Kate also believes in giving back to the community and regularly volunteers at Christ Lutheran Church dental clinic in downtown Harrisburg. She is also a volunteer soccer coach and girl scout co-leader for her children. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kate stays busy with her husband Alan, a native of Elizabethtown, PA and their three young children, Addison, Andrew, and Brynn. She enjoys running, baking, biking, and traveling. She looks forward to meeting you and helping you achieve a healthy, beautiful smile!
